Moving Fitness
A community outreach program for individuals of all abilities (ages 18 and up):
- Moving Fitness is a fitness/social club for young adults of all abilities. Our club meets from October through June and offers Zoom workouts and monthly meet-up events.
- We meet on Zoom on Monday afternoons for an hour: 30 minutes dedicated to socializing and 30 minutes of exercise. Our goal is to get everyone up and moving, talking and having fun together!
- We also meet monthly for live events, typically on Sunday afternoons. Members must be chaperoned unless parents or guardians feel they can be totally independent if left alone. ADS volunteers cannot be responsible for individuals.
- Zoom Classes include Cardio Aerobic Dance, Yoga, Kickboxing, and High Impact Interval Training (HIIT)
- Recorded classes can be found on our YouTube channel at Moving Fitness, Autism Directory Service, Inc.: https://www.youtube.com/@movingfitness2023
- Moving Fitness is run by a group of volunteers consisting of experienced fitness trainers and teachers.
- All individuals who wish to participate will be required to sign a waiver.
- If you’re interested, email Lisa Slagle at [email protected].
Classes are free, but donations are welcome!
